Lipigwe Lauya (BSc, Msc) is a medical microbiologist with heavy bias toward virology. Sub-specializing in the epidemiology and pathogenesis of virus infections. His fundamental research questions are: WHAT pathogen causes which diseases? HOW do they do so? WHO is affected and at WHERE? And HOW such affected person and place can be put under CONTROL to PREVENT escalation of the disease? Beyond these boundaries, Lipigwe has a flair for policy and research journalism, where he can help translate complex scientific evidences into reader friendly formats for wider and public reach and action.
