Submission Guidelines: Journal of the Kenya National Commission for UNESCO is the official journal of the Kenya National Commission for UNESCO (KNATCOM). JKNCU is a bi-annual publication published in January and July each year. Manuscript submissions focusing on a range of issues in the thematic areas of Education, Natural Sciences, Social and Human Sciences, Culture, Communication and Information across Kenya, Africa and other parts of the world are welcome. The Journal publishes original unpublished works, short communications, rapid communications, notes and records, literature and book reviews, and policy pieces
The journal focuses on articles in the UNESCO thematic areas of competence which includes education, natural sciences, social and human sciences, culture, communication, and information. For each of the above thematic areas, the focus will be in the following sub-themes:

The Journal of the Kenya National Commission for UNESCO accepts manuscripts throughout the year, with publication cycles in December and July. All submissions undergo thorough review by the Editorial Board to ensure compliance with submission guidelines and screened for plagiarism. Once the decision has been made to peer-review the paper, the choice of referees is made by the editor who has been assigned the manuscript, in consultation with editors handling submissions in r
